Cute ending. Your grandfather's audio is a little hard to follow at times, but easier at home than in the echo of our classroom. As I said in class, I'd either lose some of the "Ken Burns Effect" of the zooms on the photos, or at least create a target point that corresponds to faces. That said, the pix are fascinating. Some images of the town, streetlights - or a bit of work matching pix to story might have helped make the story easier to listen to - because when you are seeing one thing and hearing something else, it can add to the uncertainties. So my tip would be, when he talks about cars - show cars, etc. when you have audio problems. Fascinating blast from the past.
This is a very lovely personal story, and the use of the photographic images is very effective. You have done a good job capturing the personality of your grandfather, and the story is very nicely edited for this assignment. I hope that this will inspire you to go on and edit the rest of the interview!
I seriously wish I had audio of my grandmother telling stories. I'm glad you have this as a reminder of your grandfather. Good job witht he photos, too.
