Okay - so for my audio interview I decided to interview someone pretty close to me... It's my sister: Emily Cocarell - and she certainly had something to say. I let the tapes roll for about 30 mins and asked her a variety of questions about living in Toronto, Nuit Blanch, the night life, and what sort of community she thinks she is part of. I posted it on Myspace for now, so feel free to check it out, if the above link does not work just copy and paste this url: http://www.myspace.com/levesonandfriends
Note to Teachers:
The fidelity of the recordings seems to have gone down on the myspace stream - but my original recordings are much more hiss free. I will bring them to class on my USB port for you guys to have on Wednesday.
Enjoy,
Leveson Cocarell

Brief, to the point - and I'm sure your sister is very important to you. Hipster civil servants are interesting for sure. Would have enjoyed a bit more to this story... audio sounds OK from home.
I believe that this narrative is split up over 3 sections, all interviews with your sister. It is interesting to see these in the MySpace environment, but I'm not sure that breaking up the story is intuitive (ie Judith also thought that the narrative comprised the one short (25 ") intro! The other 2 interviews need editing for both length and focus, unlike the first interview, they are too long and rambling. Also, either make sure that your questions, if you want to include them in the interview, are audible, or else edit them out and make sure that your interviewee repeats your questions back to you.
I totally lost quality on my recordings thanks to internet compression, too. You can still hear her well though- nice one.
