An interesting story about your own community. Good audio quality! Watch for paper rustling. You may have given your narrative some more local 'flavour' which would make your story more compelling, by either recording it in situ, ie at the last plot not yet to be built up, or by adding in some foley sound fx. Good luck with your activist efforts!

Your first posting wasn't voted off, it is just that the link doesn't work! I would like to hear it, if you can fix the link.

I was debating with myself about whether the list of stores worked or not on the level of audio performance - you sound a bit tired and resigned as you list off one store and chain after another, with only a few papers rustling to add to the bleak sense of the march of progress. I think this audioblog would have worked better with either a different writing approach - more descriptive writing - or a slightly different performance, with an animated reading style and/or sound effects. That said, I think your story has widespread appeal. Many people can relate to the feeling when one's neighbourhood is ruined by ugly development and farmland is eclipsed by shopping malls. It might have been more accurate to say you WANT to protest the demise of the last field ! It's not easy at all to take this kind of thing on.
